Bushing

The thrust bearing system is responsible for withstanding the forward and reverse pressure of the Danish mill shaft during adjustment. The main cylindrical bushing is visible, along with the locking screw and the lubrication cup that supplies the system with grease via a side opening. At the front, a polished steel ball bearing is prominently displayed at the shaft end to reduce friction and facilitate rapid rotation under overload. Adjacent to this is a small black core and compression seal (pressure plug) to protect the shaft and distribute thrust evenly. This integrated system absorbs the impact of the grinding stones and ensures the straightness of the shaft within 300, 400, and 500 mills, preventing machine loosening.
